Hope I'm not ruining the surprise. They eat humans. Just sayin', since the series was very popular in the 80s. I only watched a few eps but it is notable for having Robert Englund, later "Freddy Krueger", in a supporting role. I did watch the 3 part ep with Duncan Regehr as "Charles" the "V" leader who comes to earth to marry "Diana" the commander of the "V" forces. Charles---Diana---get it? Yuk yuk yuk.

Well I have to admit the first episode of V was somewhat chilling! Even more so Katie K. when I read your post! Are they really going to eat people? I think they're doing a good job portraying the mob mentality that exists now. I'll definitely stay tuned next week. It reminds me of a really good book I've once read called "Under the Skin". If anyone is interested, I'll look up the name of the author. Really horrifying! Oh, Katie, did Charles off Diana in the series? (just kidding )

Well, no, Charles didn't "off" Diana. In fact Charles was "offed" in the third epi with him! LOL! Too bad--Duncan Regehr was quite a hottie and still is.
I watched "V" too and so far it seems to be going down the same road. In the old series, people were processed like cattle in a slaughterhouse. We shall see if the eating people thing pops out in the new series.
